The officials arrested Subham Sahu of Ainthapali and Manas Mundra. But due to lack of evidence, they released Manas. The police again arrested Manas on Monday and beat mercilessly with pipe and baton. He was forwarded to court on Tuesday, following which tension gripped outside the court. Later, Sadar SDPO Tapan Mohanty and town IIC Ramesh Chandra Dora tried to pacify them.On the other hand, his father Gopal Mundra told to media that his son has been subjected to inhumane treatment and if his son had committed a crime then he would have been forwarded to court immediately instead of detaining him at police station.
