
Bhubaneswar, Sept 19: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Friday unveiled the official jersey for the upcoming “Namo Yuva Marathon,” scheduled to take place on September 21 in celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.
According to reports, the event will be held from Kalinga Stadium to Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar and will be flagged off by CM Majhi.
Emphasizing the importance of the event, Majhi stated that the marathon conveys a powerful social message of creating a “Drug-Free India” and aims to inspire young people to embrace healthier, more purposeful lives.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, CM Majhi informed that he unveiled the jersey for the marathon and shared some pictures.
He emphasized that the youth are key to the progress of the state and nation, stressing the importance of raising awareness to keep them free from addiction. He also urged youth groups and students to participate in the "Nasha Mukt Bharat" mass run and contribute to the cause.
It is worth noting that the marathon is being held at a total of 75 cities across the country and is expected to see participation from over 10 lakh youth nationwide.
