New Delhi, Dec 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been ranked the most searched personality according to Search Engine ‘Yahoo’. Yahoo, India has released it in the annual Review for 2021 based on users' daily search activities on the site. In the survey, Yahoo has identified the year's top personalities, newsmakers and events for the calendar year. {"id":151397,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} According to the data, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has topped the list of India’s most searched personality while Cricketer Virat Kohli and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have bagged the second and third position respectively. Late actor Sidharth Shukla took fourth place while the fifth place was taken by politician Rahul Gandhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was India's 'Most Searched Politicians of 2021. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee came in second. INC leader Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah finished third, fourth, and fifth, respectively, on the list. 'Indian Farmers' Protest' was placed in the first place in the category 'Top Newsmaker of 2021 while Acclaimed actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan took second place for his alleged in the Mumbai cruise drug case. Similarly, Union Budget of India, Raj Kundra’s arrest, and Black Fungus took the third, fourth, and fifth places respectively, rounding up the top five in the category’s list. The top 5 searched female celebrities in 2021 were Actress Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone in ascending order of their ranks. The late actor Sidharth Shukla topped the most searched male celebrities list. Salman Khan came in second, followed by Allu Arjun, who came in third.
