New Delhi, July 11:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of Indian nationals in a tragic boat accident near Phu Quoc, Vietnam, and assured that Indian diplomatic missions are extending all possible assistance to those affected.

According to Vietnamese media reports, at least 15 Indian tourists lost their lives in the accident on Saturday.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, "Extremely saddened to learn about the tragic news of a boat accident involving Indian nationals near Phu Quoc, Vietnam."He added that Indian missions in Vietnam are working closely with local authorities to provide every possible support to the victims and their families.
