Phulbani, July 6: Phulbani MLA Angada Kanhar has passed Matriculation examination at 58. He has cleared the exam with first division from the Rujangi High School and scored over 72 percent in the HSC exam 2022, revealed the result declared today. Kanhar was enrolled as an open school student under the State Open School(SOS) who scored 364 marks out of 500 in the board examination.He is among the 5,17,847 students who have cleared the High School Certificate examination this year. Expressing joy over his achievements, Kanhar said that he could not appear the HSC examination in 1978 for unavoidable family problems. However,he managed to appear it this year. He thanked everyone who helped and motivated him to appear for the examination at this time. "I will continue my study further to achieve a few degrees in future", he added. Worth mentioning, Kanhar is a farmer by profession and he successfully contested the 2019 Assembly election from the Phulbani constituency on a BJD ticket and won a thumping victory. His new record in education has rejoiced the people of his constituency.
