Phase I development of Swargadwar in Puri completed

Puri, May 15: The phase I development of Swargadwar in Puri, comprising of construction of 28 pyres has been completed on Saturday. The Public Works Department (PWD) is the constructing agency of the project. PWD officials said that the pyres have been made functional as well. Under the scope of 5T initiatives, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier ordered for its development. {"align":"center","id":113212,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} Officials said that the focous will be on the second phase of work which includes the construction of Shankracharya cottage, administration building, waiting spaces, toilet block & other facilities. “Work on beach road in front and also development of beach in front of Swaragdwar will also be taken up,” said an official.
