New Delhi, April 17: Fuel prices were unchanged for the second consecutive day after the oil marketing companies decided to continue on the pause mode to analyse the global developments on prices of oil before effecting a revision.

Accordingly, pump price of petrol and diesel remained at previous day’s level of Rs 90.40 and Rs 80.73 per litre respectively, in the capital.

The price of fuel of two autos fell by 22 paisa and 23 paisa per litre respectively last week on Thursday in wake global softening of oil prices.

However, the price of the premium petrol continues to remain Rs 100 per litre in Mumbai and other cities across the country.

The OMCs went on price cut for the first time this year on two consecutive days – March 24 and 25 after keeping oil prices steady for past 24 days. It again reduced the price on March 30.
