People across Odisha celebrate Mahashivratri with gaiety

Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: Devotees make beeline in front of different Shiva shrines across the state to worship Lord Shiva on the auspicious day of Mahashivratrti amid Covid restrictions. The Odisha government has restricted any kind of congregation on the occasion of Mahashivratrti to check the spread of Covid-19. Temples have been bedecked with different type of flowers and colourful lights. The shrines like Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar, Chandrasekhar temple at Kapilash in Dhenkanal, Gupteswar temple in Koraput, Dhabaleswar temple in Athagarh and Akhandalamani temple in Bhadrak are decked up on the occasion of Mahashivratrti.
