Patna, July 18: Patna MLA Jagannath Naik today felicitated working journalists of the locality at Putulia in Patna block of Keonjhar district. The MLA felicitated the media professionals h in recognition of their service in the fight against Covid-19.
MLA Naik sought suggestions from the scribes over the development of the locality. The journalists urged the MLA to appoint doctors at Patna and Turununga hospitals, and set up of a police station in Saharpada.
The scribes also appealed the MLA for the development of education and road communication in the area. They also urged Naik to set up Sub Registrar and Registrar offices in Patna headquarters.
The MLA also assured them to raise the issues at state Assembly.
Among others, senior journalist-cum-advisor of press club Nrusingh nath Singh, Rahas Bihari Prusty, president Maheswar Prusty, vice-president Birkishore Dash, Ranjan Barik, treasurer Kishore Chandra Mahanta, sectary Bijay Ratna Pati, Santosh Kumar Pati and Shantanu Behera were present in the event.
