Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday said the agreement signed with the Air Odisha for flight operation fro Jharsuguda Airport would be cancelled and a pact with another leading flight opetrator will be inked for the purpose.
Responding to Media queries, Pradhan said the Narendra Modi Government doesn’t move back from its projects and，whenever needed, take approprate measures to set right the concerned project.
He said the the Union Government has initiated talks with a leading flight operator to operate flights from the Jharsuguda Airport.
It may be noted that the Jharsuguda Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 22. The Air Odisha, which had entered into a contact to fly planes, operated flights for six days only. Flight operation has been stopped over a month now.
