Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: The second phase money of 1st installment of Subhadra Yojana will be credited to the eligible beneficiaries on Wednesday with beginning of Durga Puja celebrations.
“The second phase money of 1st installment of Subhadra Yojana (Rs 5000) will be transferred to the bank accounts of around 35 lakh beneficiaries tomorrow by noon,” Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said on Tuesday.
The Subhadra Yojana money will be credited to women beneficiaries having National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clearance.
The Deputy Chief Minister has informed that the total number of applications for Odisha government’s Subhadra Yojana has crossed one crore mark by Monday.
During a program in Baripada, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will disburse the second phase money of the first installment of Rs 5,000 to the bank accounts of eligible applicants.
The ambitious scheme, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, September 17, aims to provide financial support to women beneficiaries across the state.
