Bhubaneswar, June 8: Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) has started Gaon Amba Bazaar (country mango market) in Bhubaneswar since Monday. As many as five country mango stalls have been set up in the capital city. Four such stalls have been opened before the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) at Unit-8 and another stall is before the Chandrasekharpur filling station. The stalls are exhibiting around 200 varieties of conventional country mangoes(grove mangoes) Significantly, the ORMAS has launched online sale of mangoes through Swiggy and some other apps this year so that people can get mangoes remaining safe at home during the Pandemic. The mango exhibition and sale will continue till June 17.Costumers can also visit the stalls physically during 7-11 AM, said an ORMAS official.
