Orissa High Court asks Congress to go for hartal

Cuttack, Nov 11: Orissa High Court has asked the state Congress  to go for a hartal tomorrow, not to forcibly observe bandh. Hearing a petition filed by a Cuttack based businessman, Narayan Chandra, a division Bench of the High Court issued order that the state Congress can’t forcibly impose a bandh on the people as proposed tomorrow. However, the party can go for a hartal that will not affect the  public lives, said the order.  The Congress had called Odisha bandh on Friday demanding action against the accused involved in lady teacher Mamita Meher’s murder case.
