Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: The Opposition uproar prevailed in the House for the second day today as both BJP and Congress legislators showed placards and shouted slogans forcing the Speaker to adjourn the proceedings till 4 pm. Until and unless the state government comes for negotiation with the farmers to resolve their problems, the uproar will continue, said Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati stating that the party would register its protest during Chief Minister's reply to the debate on the thank giving motion for the Governor's address. He alleged that the BJP had been hand in glove with the ruling BJD over farmer issue, which has been made clear after the Speaker directed Food and Supplies Minister to make a statement without discussing the issue in the House. However, the BJP did not agree to the Congress' allegation. "We have not accepted the Speaker's ruling. We want discussion on the issue through a special motion. Will continue our protest till the farmers' issues are resolved", said Opposition Chief Whip Mohan Charan Majhi.  Congress legislature party leader Narasingha Mishra wrote a letter to the Speaker denying the fact that the party had agreed to the decision of the all party meeting held yesterday. "The proceedings of the all party meeting should be amended accordingly and unless the correction is done the Congress legislature party would not participate in any all party meeting in future", threatened Mishra.
