Bhubaneswar, May 10: In response to the ongoing war-like situation between India and Pakistan, the Odisha government has cancelled all sanctioned leaves for RDCS, Collectors, and DMS.
The officers currently on leave have been instructed to return to their respective headquarters without delay and resume duty. The government emphasized that no new leaves applications will be entertained during this critical period, except under exceptional circumstances.
This decision comes as part of the government’s broader strategy to maintain strong administrative control and ensure effective governance in case of any emergency arising from the escalating tension at the national level.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has reportedly communicated the directive to all relevant departments and officers. The state is on high alert and closely monitoring developments, while also coordinating with the central government.
Officials are expected to remain fully available to handle any crisis management, public safety measures, and logistical support that may be required in the coming days.
