On Teacher's Day, OKCL Launches Major Initiative to Expand Digital Education Network

OKCL Launches New Center Registration Process to Empower Edu-preneurs

On the auspicious occasion of Teacher's Day, the Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL) has launched its flagship "New Center Registration Process 2026" (NCR 2026), a major initiative aimed at empowering educational entrepreneurs across the state. Unveiled by OKCL's Managing Director, Dr. Manoranjan Puthal, the program is designed to expand the organization's network of learning centers and deepen its mission of digital education and empowerment in Odisha.

Dr. Puthal described the NCR 2026 as a "golden opportunity" for both existing and aspiring "edu-preneurs" to partner with OKCL. He highlighted that this initiative is not just about creating new revenue streams for the authorized learning centers, but about enabling them to play a transformative role in spreading education, enhancing employability, and boosting digital literacy at the grassroots level.

With an existing network of over 774 active centers, OKCL is setting an ambitious goal to add 1,000 new centers to its fold this year. These centers will be responsible for delivering a wide range of internationally recognized, skill-based computer courses, supported by continuous training, marketing, and operational assistance from OKCL.

Promoted by the Government of Odisha under the Electronics & IT Department, OKCL has been a pivotal force in bridging the digital divide in the state. Beyond its core computer literacy programs, the organization is also actively involved in e-governance monitoring, training government officials, and developing e-content for schools, reinforcing its role as a leader in Odisha's digital transformation.
