Gujarat, Sept 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 76 on Friday. Marking the occasion, a childhood friend from Gujarat penned an emotional letter recalling their longstanding friendship and likening their bond to that of Krishna and Sudama.
In the letter, the writer refers to Modi as “Krishna” and describes himself as “Sudama,” recalling their early days and the friendship they shared. He said he has preserved memories of their association over the years and expressed his affection and respect for the Prime Minister.
The letter also highlights Modi’s journey from his early years in Gujarat to becoming the country’s Prime Minister. The writer recalled their childhood connection and said that, despite Modi’s rise to national prominence, the memories of their early relationship remain close to his heart.
The emotional message was accompanied by photographs and documents relating to their association. The writer said he wished Modi good health, happiness and a long life on his 76th birthday.
