Bhubaneswar, May 17: The Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) today restricted public entry to their office at Toshali Bhawan in Bhubaneswar till May 31 or until further decision.
“In view of sudden upsurge of COVID-19 infections and recent deaths of official working in offices located at Toshali Bhawan, and in order to adopt strict social distancing and isolation measures to stop further spread of COVID-19 infections in the office, petitioners and party is restricted to the Office of the Odisha Human Rights Commission till 31.05.2021 or until further decision. During this period the office will function with bare minimum staff. Registration and scrutiny of the Complaints will continue on regular basis,” said an order issued by the OHRC.
“During this period only urgent cases shall be taken up for hearing .The Complaint petition may be filed through official email (ohrcenic.in). For such urgent hearing the Assistant Registrar, OHRC may be contacted over his cell no.8763642080. Extremely urgent matters can be taken up/heard after obtaining permission from the Chairperson and parties may opt for hearing through virtual mode by providing their mobile no and email ld to the Asst. Registrar,” stated the order.
