Offline exams cancelled after 7 more students test Covid positive in VIMSAR

Sambalpur, Nov 23: As many as seven more students of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla have tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday. Keeping in view the upward surge in Covid-19 graph, the administration has cancelled the examination of first and second year students which was scheduled to be held in offline mode. Now the exams including the practicals will be conducted in online mode. Worth mentioning, at least 22 first-year MBBS students of the college had tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. It is suspected that the infection might have spread through the annual function UTKARASH-2021, which was held at VIMSAR premises.
