Bhubaneswar, Ap 27: To gain firsthand insight into the operations of the Kudumbashree Mission in Kerala, members of Mission Shakti from Subarnapur district in Odisha visited the Kudumbashree Mission in Ernakulam.
During the Saturday meeting, officials presented various activities of Kudumbashree in detail and shared their experiences. The team received detailed presentations on initiatives such as K-for-Care, Santhwana Mitra, and Haritha Karma Sena, reviewing the implementation methods, achievements, and community impact across multiple sectors.
District Mission Coordinator T.M. Rejeena explained the process of planning and executing projects. Presentations also highlighted Kudumbashree’s organizational structure, community-based interventions, women’s empowerment activities, and income-generating programs.
The visiting team also toured the Edathala Nutrimix Unit and Premium Café in Angamaly to observe operational models in practice. Authorities confirmed that the study visit will continue for another two days.
