​​​​​​​Keonjhar, Oct 5: In a tragic incident reported from Gundichaghai waterfall in Banachakulia village of Odisha’s Keonjhar district, a youth went missing after being swept away by the strong current while bathing.

The victim has been identified as Satyaprakash, hailing from Badasialimal village. He had visited the popular tourist spot with his friends when the accident took place.

As per reports, Satyaprakash, who worked as an ambulance driver in Paradip, reportedly slipped into the deep water while bathing at the waterfall. Despite immediate attempts to rescue him, he was carried away by the strong currents, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Local authorities quickly mobilized a fire brigade team to conduct a thorough search of the area, but as of now, Satyaprakash has not been located.

Search efforts are currently underway.
