Sambalpur, Aug 19: An Odisha woman appeals the state government to bring her daughter back to home who has been stranded in Afghanistan due to Taliban’s cruelty. Mourning over the Taliban’s tyranny in Kabul, the Sambalpur based mother Juhura Begam has left food and water waiting her daughter's comeback. She is shedding tears day and night holding photographs of her daughter and grandchildren. Family sources said, Juhura’s family is a native of Motijira village in Sambalpur town. Her daughter Sakila Banu had married Ataulla Khan of Afghanistan few years ago. Since then, Sakila has been staying in Kabul with her family. Mother Juhura was in touch with Sakila till last month. She was talking with her daughter and grandchildren almost every day over video calling. However, she was unable to interact with her daughter since a month after the Talibans declared war in Afghanistan. No phone call gets connected to her so far.Thus, she anticipates something wrong and longingly awaiting for Sakila’s home coming. Ultimately, she has appealed Odisha government to help her getting Sakila to Odisha, saving her family from gun points.
