Sundargarh, June 30: At least two people including a minor girl died after venomous snake bit them in two separate incidents in Bonai area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district.
As per reports, the first incident took place in Katuridhua village under Bonai police limits when a minor girl Rashmi Oram was bitten by a snake while she was asleep at home. After learning about this, she was immediately rushed to Bonai Hospital for treatment where the attending doctors declared her dead.
The second instance has been reported from Narendra village under Bonai police limits when one Ajit Oram was bitten by a snake while he was going out of his house on Sunday night.
He was taken to Bonai Hospital for treatment where the doctor declared him dead.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the hospital and seized the bodies. Subsequently, they were sent for post-mortem.
