Bhubaneswar, September 30: Several train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway have been cancelled, short-terminated or short-originated following a landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations.

The measures have been taken as a safety precaution and to facilitate restoration work in the affected section. Passengers have been advised to check the status of their trains before commencing their journey and make necessary travel arrangements.

Trains Cancelled

The following train will remain cancelled on October 1 and 2, 2026:

• Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express

The following trains will remain cancelled on October 2 and 3, 2026:

• Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger
• Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger
• Train No. 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express
• Train No. 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express
• Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Express

Trains Short-Terminated/Short-Originated

Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express, which commenced its journey from Howrah on September 30 and October 1, 2026, will beshort-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on October 2 and 3, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Bhubaneswar on October 1 and 2, 2026, will beshort-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on October 2 and 3, 2026, will beshort-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
