Bhubaneswar, Dec 23: Odisha government has started the process to appoint as many as 11,403 teachers in govt high schools. The recruitment process will be completed by April 2022. Recently the state government has appointed a record number of teachers on a single day when as many as 6,131 teachers were provided with appointment letters. Officials said that an advertisement for the recruitment of 4619 teachers was published on August 13 this year while another advertisement for the recruitment of another 6720 teachers was published on August 28. “The examination and recruitment rules have been amended to ensure participation of the maximum number of candidates for teaching is not available. In addition, 3462 teaching posts have also been approved in view of the growing number of students,” said an official.
