Bhubaneswar, May 3: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has asked all Nijog presidents and secretaries to submit written opinions by May 4 regarding the controversies around the Digha Jagannath temple.

A meeting with them is also scheduled for tomorrow.

A notice has been served to Daitapati Niyog secretary Ramakrushna Das Mahapatra, who may be questioned about his statements to Bengali media on the Nabakalebar wood store room.

Meanwhile, the Chhattisa Nijog has condemned the use of the term "Jagannath Dham-Digha" by West Bengal, calling the Digha event political. They urged legal action and clarified that idol-making from surplus Nabakalebar wood is unacceptable. They also demanded a thorough SJTA probe into the matter.
