Odisha: Several Train Services Cancelled, Terminated Due to Landslide Between Maligura–Chhatariput Stations in Rayagada Division

Train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway have been affected due to landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations. As a safety precaution and to facilitate restoration work in the affected section, certain trains have been cancelled, while some services have been short-terminated or short-originated.

Odisha: Several Train Services Cancelled, Terminated Due to Landslide Between Maligura–Chhatariput Stations in Rayagada Division

Bhubaneswar, September 24: Train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway have been affected due to landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations. As a safety precaution and to facilitate restoration work in the affected section, certain trains have been cancelled, while some services have been short-terminated or short-originated.

Cancellation of Trains

The following trains will remain cancelled on September 25, 2026:

• Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger

• Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger

• Train No. 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express

• Train No. 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express

Trains Short-Terminated / Short-Originated

Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express, which commenced its journey from Howrah on September 23, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on September 25, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express, which commenced its journey from Rourkela on September 24, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on September 25, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, which commenced its journey from Bhubaneswar on September 24, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.

Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on September 25, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.

Passengers are advised to check the status of their respective trains before commencing their journey and plan their travel accordingly.
