Bhubaneswar, April 29: The Odisha government has formally requested the Centre to establish 190 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across six major cities in the state under the PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-Drive) scheme.
The proposal, submitted by the State Transport Authority (STA) under the Commerce and Transport Department, has been directed to the Ministry of Heavy Industries for approval.
According to the proposal, the EV charging infrastructure will be set up at 190 locations in the cities of Angul, Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Kalinganagar, and Puri.
