Odisha reports 67 new Omicron cases, tally mounts to 170

Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: Odisha has reported 67 omicron cases on Wednesday taking the total tally to 170 in the state, informed the Institute of Life Science (ILS).
Notably, Odisha reported the first two Omicron cases on December 21 and both had travel history from Nigeria and Qatar. Within a span of 23 days, the cases have gone from 2 to 170.
Similarly, India has so far reported a total of 4461 Omicron cases. The Omicron cases have been reported across 28 states and union territories, informed the Health Ministry today.
