Odisha: Process of applying DL to go paperless from Feb 1

Bhubaneswar, Jan 29: The transport department has decided to make [process of driving licence/learning licence paperless from February 1. As per a notification of the State Transport Authority (STA) applicants no longer need to submit documents such as printed application form, declaration form and photocopies of identity, age proof, address proof and blood group report with the concerned RTOs while applying for driving licence. “The applicant has to upload the documents during the application stage. While coming for the document verification on the date of slot booked for the LL test, he has to produce the original id/address/age proof as uploaded. There is no need to carry the printed application form, printed slot booking slip or the printed fee receipt. The applicant can show the slot booking skip on his mobile phone,” read the notification.
