Bhubaneswar, October 7: To strengthen security and maintain law and order ahead of Durga Puja celebrations, Commissionerate Police, in collaboration with two BSF companies, conducted a flag march in Bhubaneswar's Laxmisagar and Jharpada areas in the evening of Monday.

The march, led by Bhubaneswar Deputy Superintendent of Police Pinak Mishra, also saw the participation of central paramilitary forces. 

It was aimed at showcasing the security forces’ readiness to handle any potential challenges during the festivities and ensuring the safety of citizens.

 In addition to the flag march, Commissionerate Police have ramped up patrolling efforts to curb unlawful activities. 

DCP Mishra issued a stern warning to criminals, emphasizing that stringent action would be taken against any attempts to disrupt peace during the celebrations.
