Odisha minister turns Good Samaritan, takes accident victim to hospital in her car

Balangir, Jan 22: Odisha Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu in an act of kindness took an accident victim to hospital in her car. The minister was returning to Titilagarh after chairing Zilla Parishad Council meeting in Balangir district on Friday when she saw an accident victim in critical condition near Baragaon village under Saintala police limits. Without any delay, Sahu rushed the victim to the Saintala Community health centre (CHC) in her personal vehicle. {"id":94084,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} According to sources, the victim identified as Sunita Mishra and her husband Bijay Mishra met with an accident while returning to Saintala from Badamala. Sunita had sustained critical injuries when the minister turned Good Samaritan and extended a helping hand to admit her to the hospital. The minister also facilitated all emergency services to her being present at the hospital.
