Bhubaneswar, May 11: Odisha Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj hailed the recent India-Pakistan ceasefire as a “diplomatic win” and praised the Indian Armed Forces for neutralizing terrorist camps, enemy drones, and military bases.
Suraj also highlighted state efforts to ensure the safe return of Odisha students from Jammu & Kashmir, including a toll-free helpline.
Meanwhile, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati urged citizens to stand by the armed forces and paid tribute to the martyrs of recent attacks. Amid renewed border violations by Pakistan, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri warned of strong Indian retaliation and urged Pakistan to uphold the ceasefire agreement.
