Bhubaneswar, July 2: Another low pressure is likely to be formed in the Bay of Bengal between July 10-12, informed the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday. It will bring moderate to heavy rainfall in Odisha during the month of July, said IMD Director General Dr. Mrityunjaya Mohapatra. In a special interview with Prameya New7 on Friday, Mohapatra said that the monsoon rain in July is expected to be normal across the nation. At the same time, Odisha will encounter a low pressure on July 10 or 12 which may bring more rain after depression. On the other hand, heat wave amid the monsoon will be reduced to normal after continuous monsoon shower. However, the North Odisha regions will witness scantier rainfall than the normal rate while the Southernmost part may get normal rate of rainfall. Spectacularly, the rainfall amid the low pressure may compensate the less rainfall during June, he added.
