Bhubaneswar, Dec 3:Odisha is a cradle land of good governance and incubator of best-practised initiatives said, Union Secretary for Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance, Sanjay Singh on Friday. Addressing a two-day national conference on 'Best Practices and Initiatives for Good Governance', organised at the Convention Centre of Lokseva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar in the afternoon, Singh applauded the innovative welfare initiatives and public friendly development models of the government of Odisha. Singh said the exemplary initiatives of the Odisha government including Mo Sarkar, E-Governance approach, Implementations of Bharatnet-II, disaster management mechanisms, Inclusive online common services have been proved to be the Best Practised Models for Good Governance. The models will be well propagated and implemented all over the state through the Regional Conference, he added. {"id":151320,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Addressing the delegates of 14 states of the North-East and Eastern India, Chief Secretary Odisha, Suresh Chandra Mahapatra Said, Odisha government is committed to cater need-based services to its people in a time-bound way. The welfare strategies adopted by the state is addressing every exigency of a common man in time. Emphasizing the need of the Regional symposiums on good governance, Special Secretary to Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance Department, V Srinivas said, Odisha is a leading state to provide common services through digitalization. Similarly, Additional Secretary to Department of Home, Sanjeev Chopra in terms of his deliberation urged the government for an institutional establishment that can disseminate administrative excellence among the welfare states.
