Cuttack, Oct 16: The Orissa High Court will observe its Dussehra vacation from October 19 to 26, with regular court proceedings scheduled to resume on October 27.

As October 17 and 18 fall on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, Friday will be the last working day before the vacation begins on Monday.

According to a notification issued by the High Court, a vacation court will function on October 23 to hear cases during the holiday period.

Three benches will sit on that day.

One bench will comprise Justice Shashikanta Mishra and Justice Aditya Kumar Mahapatra. The two judges will also hear cases separately in individual benches.

The notification further stated that the High Court office will remain open from 11 am to 3 pm on October 21, 22 and 23 during the vacation.
