Bhubaneswar, February 23: With a big financial support to the grooming Self Help Groups (SHGs), the Odisha government on Saturday announced to refund the interests collected on the bank loans availed by the Self Help Groups as their business capitals. 

Odisha CM Mohan Majhi announced it on Saturday.

In a post on X, CM stated, interest on loans up to Rs 10 lakh taken by the SHGs will be returned to the concerned groups.

This measure is set to be implemented in the financial year 2024-25, highlighting the government’s commitment to empowering communities at the grassroots level, the post read.
