Bhubaneswar, Aug 22: The state government would probe into Ganjam road accident in which 4 people have died, leaving 12 injured at Samarjhole Chhak under Hinjili police limits.
Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena visited MKCG Medical College and Hospital and met the injured persons under treatment there.
He talked to the doctors to have best possible service so that injured persons would get well soon.
Saying that Chief Minister declared financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh each to the near ones of dead and Rs. 1 lakh each to the injured, Minister assured all possible measures to avoid repeat of such incident.
Minister Jena also went to the accident spot to have a detailed observation regarding the accident.
He was accompanied by Transport Commissioner Amtav Thakur, Ganjam Collector Dibyajyoti Parida, Sub-Collector along with officers from Transport Department.
