Odisha Govt gears up preparations for PM Modi’s visit on September 27

Bhubaneswar, September 20: The Odisha Government is all set for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state on September 27. Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja led a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to assess the progress of preparations for the Prime Minister's visit.

PM Modi will attend the national-level ‘Seva Parv’ program in Berhampur, where he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several key development projects, benefitting the people of Odisha.

 The Chief Secretary was joined by senior officials, including Development Commissioner Anu Garg and Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Satyabrat Sahu. Ganjam District Magistrate Kirti Bhasan V. attended the meeting virtually.

During the meeting, Higher Education Commissioner Arvind Agrawal presented a detailed overview of the schedule and logistical arrangements. Chief Secretary Ahuja issued instructions to ensure seamless coordination for both on-site and virtual events during the visit.

Key discussions covered stage setup, seating arrangements, event checklists, and other logistical considerations to ensure the event’s smooth execution. The Chief Minister had previously held a preparatory meeting and provided necessary instructions for the visit’s successful organization.
