Bhubaneswar, August 20:The Odisha government on Wedensday cleared as many as 18 major projects worth Rs 4,515 Cr investment profile that bear at least 8,200 employment prospects.
The project proposals were waved a green signal by the 139th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, met today.
The projects, spanning IT, manufacturing, beverages, tourism, hospitality, renewable energy, and electric vehicles, are expected to generate massive employment opportunities across eight districts – Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Sundargarh, and Jharsuguda.
The upcoming projects are as follows….
Sanaka Auto Corp EV manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 10,000 units – Rs 300 crore | 145 jobs
Shreetech Data Ltd will develop a hyperscale data centre – Rs 501 crore | 450 jobs
West Edge Data Centres Pvt Ltd will set up a data centre and satellite internet services unit – Rs 50.50 crore | 190 jobs.
Elixir of East – The Artisan Distillery LLP will establish a spirit manufacturing unit – Rs 3.65 crore | 110 jobs
Associated Alcohols and Breweries Ltd will set up a 200 KLPD grain-based distillery with IMFL bottling unit – Rs 300 crore | 1,812 jobs
Starcaps Global LLP will establish a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit – Rs 80 crore | 145 jobs
Padma Hospitality Pvt Ltd – 3-star hotel in Jagatsinghpur – Rs 59.91 crore | 181 jobs
SNM Hotels & Resorts Pvt Ltd – 4-star hotel & resort in Jagatsinghpur – Rs 92.32 crore | 173 jobs
Orissa Stevedores Ltd – 5-star hotel in Paradip – Rs 211 crore | 350 jobs
INOX Solar Ltd will set up a 5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Assembly Plant in Dhenkanal – Rs 283 crore | 51 jobs
Jindal Stainless Ltd will establish a Green Hydrogen manufacturing unit of 1,500 Nm³/hr in Jajpur – Rs 90 crore | 89 jobs
A Raipur-based company will set up a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing unit in Ganjam | Rs 750 crore | 515 jobs
Gravita India Ltd will set up a comprehensive recycling unit in Angul for refined lead, alloys, and PP granules – Rs 350 crore | 270 jobs
Vibrant Spirits Pvt Ltd will set up a compressed biogas unit with a capacity of 4,000 MTPA in Sundargarh – Rs 50 crore | 725 jobs
Betabuilds Technologies Pvt Ltd will establish a steel processing unit for ERW pipes, PEB manufacturing, and HR coil slitting with a capacity of 3,88,000 MT per annum in Sundargarh – Rs 131.55 crore | 400 jobs
Konark Ispat Ltd will expand capacity in Jharsuguda by adding a 0.35 MTPA Rolling Mill, 0.6 MTPA Pellet Plant, 70 MW Captive Power Plant, 0.54 MTPA DRI Plant, and 0.50 MTPA Billet Plant. The ₹990 crore expansion will create 2,000 jobs.
Shree Jagannath Carriers Pvt Ltd will set up a logistics park and warehousing facility in Angul – Rs 111.90 crore | 300 jobs
Sapient Resources Pvt Ltd will establish a 2X3 MTPA coal washery in Angul – Rs 70 crore | 300 jobs
