Odisha Governor lends voice to patriotic Odia song

Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: Governor of Odisha Prof. Ganeshi Lal has sung a patriotic song in Odia. He has lent his voice, as a professional artist for an Odia DVD titled as ‘E Mati Odisha, E Jati Odia’ recorded at Bhubaneswar on Sunday. For the first time in Odisha, the first citizen of the state went live in a Voice-tech studio with a troupe of renowned singers. Sources said, famous Odia lyricist Prem Anand requested Prof. Lal to lend his voice for his incoming patriotic DVD ‘ E Mati Odisha, E Jati Odia’ that illustrates the glorious history of Odisha. Prof. Lal accepted the request after listening to the lyrics. Accordingly, the voice recording was organised in a Voice-tech studio in Bhubaneswar on February 28. Prof. Lal sang the opening tagline of the Odia song written by noted lyricist Basantraj Samal and directed by Prem Anand.Prof. Lal expressed his joy for being part of the recording of the song. Thirteen front line Odia singers have lent their voice along with the Governor for the special song.
