Bhubaneswar, August 16: Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Sunday flagged off 1,500 dry ration kits for flood-affected families in Bhadrak and Baleshwar districts.
The relief materials, provided by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust for Universal Welfare, were dispatched from Lok Bhavan. Each kit contains essential items such as rice, pulses, edible oil, sugar, flour, salt, chuda and soap.
Governor Kambhampati appreciated the initiative and stressed the importance of timely assistance for disaster-hit families.
First Lady Jayashree Kambhampati and Commissioner-cum-Secretary Roopa Roshan Sahoo were present.
