Odisha government issues guidelines for smooth celebration of Republic Day

Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: The Odisha government on Tuesday issued guidelines for the smooth celebration of Republic Day in the state. As per the order, only police contingents will take part in the Republic Day ceremony in all the districts. The government allowed the citizens to unfurl the national flag at their home premises with a congregation of maximum five persons. Students and NCC cadets will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. The general public will not be permitted in the celebration. Moreover, in other public and private places or institutions, a maximum of 10 persons are allowed with compliance to Covid-19 appropriate behavior.
