Bhubaneswar, May 14: The Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Odisha, has released a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of District Programme Coordinators (DPCs) under the MAMATA Scheme. These positions are available in the districts of Kalahandi, Keonjhar, and Rayagada.
Key details:
Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual, co-terminus with the MAMATA Scheme.
Vacancies: 3 current openings at the district level. A panel of candidates will also be created for future vacancies. This panel will remain valid for one year.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: 21 to 40 years as of 1st January 2025.
Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month.
Educational qualifications:
Must possess a Postgraduate degree in any discipline, preferably in:
Social Sciences
Life Sciences
Nutrition
Medicine
Health Management
Social Work
MBA
Rural Management
Experience & skills:
Minimum 5 years of work experience with Government or Non-Governmental Organizations.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Certification in computer training (e.g., DCA/PGDCA) preferred.
Must be proficient in English and Odia, including translation between the two.
Selection Process:
Career Marks: 40%
Relevant Experience: 30%
Interview: 30%
General conditions:
Applicant must be a native of Odisha, to ensure effective communication and understanding of the local language.
The contract is subject to annual renewal based on satisfactory performance.
The position will be automatically terminated if the MAMATA scheme is discontinued, regardless of the remaining contract duration.
