Odisha girl bags gold medal at Senior Asian Weightlifting Championship

Bhubaneswar, April 18: Odia girl Jhilli Dalabehera has bagged gold medal in the 45kg women category at the Senior Asian Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She lifted 69kg in snatch and 88kg in clean and jerk for a total of 157kg. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan congratulated the athlete for her success. “ Congratulate Odisha’s Jhili Dalabehera for winning her maiden gold Sports medal at the Asian Weightlifting Man lifting weights Championship 2020. Wishing her many more sporting glories in the times ahead.
