Bhubaneswar, June 24: Odisha is preparing to host the 6th edition of the Odisha Tourism Conclave on 25 June 2025, an ambitious initiative aimed at redefining the state's tourism landscape.
The high-level event will bring together stakeholders, investors, industry experts, and policymakers to chart a comprehensive roadmap for sustainable and inclusive growth in the tourism sector.
Organised with the objective of "Reimagining Travel in Odisha," the conclave will focus heavily on infrastructure development particularly the construction of hotels and allied facilities across key tourist circuits. The state government seeks to create a more robust and visitor-friendly ecosystem to attract both domestic and international travellers.
In a bid to expand its global footprint, the conclave will include deliberations on making Odisha an appealing destination for long-haul travellers. One of the marquee proposals under discussion is the introduction of 21-day immersive tourism packages. These packages, designed to move beyond the standard weekend getaways, aim to offer deeper cultural experiences while enhancing tourist spending and driving regional economic development.

The sessions will explore themes like digital innovation in tourism, sustainable hospitality models, cultural heritage preservation, and community-based tourism.
