Odisha DGP pays tributes to Martyrs, Warriors on Police Commemoration Day 2021

Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: Odisha Police observed 62nd Police Commemoration Day today to commemorate the sacrifices made by policemen. DGP Abhay paid homage to Police martyrs and Covid warriors who laid down their lives in the line of duty. The 62nd Police Commemoration Day was observed at the State Police Headquarters in Cuttack, where the DGP also conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the martyred jawans. wp:gallery {"ids":[143253],"linkTo":"none"} /wp:gallery Tributes are being paid to 24 martyrs this year. The ceremony was attended by all senior IPS officers working with the Police DG. Policemen sacrifice not only their lives but also their family life for guarding society against threats, and people should be aware of this.
