Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Mumbai on October 18, where he will discuss with key investors regarding the establishment of a mega steel plant in Keonjhar.

In addition to investor meetings, CM Majhi has planned a series of roadshows in Mumbai aimed at attracting significant industrial investments to Odisha. This initiative is part of the state’s broader strategy to boost industrial development and create investment opportunities across various sectors.

Earlier this month, on October 2, the Chief Minister visited New Delhi, where he held discussions with Ambassadors, High Commissioners, commercial commissioners, and business leaders from various countries to draw investment for Odisha.

He also led a roadshow, urging investors to participate in the 'Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025', the state’s flagship industrial event, scheduled for January 28-29 in Bhubaneswar.

The newly formed government has set an ambitious goal of attracting Rs 5 lakh crore investments to Odisha over the next five years, marking a new era of industrial growth for the state.
