Bhubaneswar, May 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to begin a four-day visit to New Delhi starting today, during which he will meet with top national leaders and participate in high-level policy discussions. A key highlight of the visit will be a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Majhi will formally invite PM Modi to attend the first anniversary celebration of the BJP-led Odisha government, scheduled for June 12, 2025. The Chief Minister is also expected to present a detailed report on his government’s achievements over the past year and discuss a development roadmap for Odisha’s future.
The anniversary event is expected to showcase the state’s progress under the Majhi administration, highlighting the successful implementation of various welfare and development programs.
Apart from his meeting with the Prime Minister, CM Majhi will take part in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on May 24, which will be chaired by PM Modi. The meeting will focus on national and state-level policy priorities and is expected to bring together key leaders from across the country.
CM Majhi will also attend a strategic conclave of chief ministers from NDA-ruled states, aimed at enhancing coordination among the states and aligning efforts to meet shared development goals.
This visit underscores Odisha’s growing role in national discussions and the Majhi government’s focus on active engagement with the central leadership to accelerate the state’s growth and governance reforms.
