Bhubaneswar, Aug 31: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday launched new digital initiatives under the ‘Ama Bus’ service to modernize Odisha’s public transport.

The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) introduced the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), WhatsApp-based ticket booking, digital passes, and special fare concessions. With this, Odisha joins the Centre’s ‘One Nation, One Card’ scheme, allowing seamless travel across cities using a single card.

Digital ticket discounts include 15% for women and 10% for general passengers. The revamped pass system now covers Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur, Sambalpur, and Rourkela. For easy access, tickets can be booked via the Ama Bus app or by messaging 9078050218 on WhatsApp.
